  • Lady Eagles win intense game

      SHEPHERDSVILLE - Leading 74-73 with less than a minute remaining in an intense intra-county game with Bullitt Central, the North Bullitt Lady Eagles did what they had done all night - they hit free throws.

  • BC gets a confidence boost at Holy Cross

          SHEPHERDSVILLE - The two Bullitt Central basketball teams traveled to Dixie Highway on Tuesday and came away with a split of games against Sixth Region rival Holy Cross.

         In the girls' contest, the Lady Cougars could not overcome an early deficit and fell to the other Lady Cougars by a count of 73-58. It was the first loss of the season for Bullitt Central.

          MOUNT WASHINGTON - Bullitt East Lady Charger head coach Chris Stallings doesn't like to lose, but on Tuesday the longtime coach could see a lot of good points after his team's 60-55 loss to Butler.

         The Bullitt East Chargers are quickly learning that there will be no vacations this winter as they are the highlight of the season for every team they face. While no team can be at the top of its game every night, it is pretty much a given that any team facing the Chargers will have its 'A' game.

     SHEPHERDSVILLE - The Bullitt Central Lady Cougars scored just two points in the fourth quarter on Friday against visiting Oldham County, but that was all they needed as coach Kyle Roach’s team managed to pull out a 39-37 victory.

     SHEPHERDSVILLE - It was two totally different worlds for Bullitt Central’s basketball teams as they opened the 2012-13 season playing programs at two totally different ends of the talent spectrum.

  • East Honors Brangers

     Bullitt East soccer coach Mike Brangers was honored back during the season after winning his 100th game as the Chargers’ head coach. 

    Brangers played his high school soccer at Bullitt East before returning and becoming the head coach. 

    Brangers was given the game ball from the 100th victory, a 3-0 victory over Bardstown.
