 MOUNT WASHINGTON - Trailing 3-2 midway through the fourth inning, the Bullitt East Lady Chargers once again found a win to win, scoring three times in the bottom of the fourth and then adding a solo home run in the sixth to beat 24th District rival North Bullitt 6-3 on Wednesday.

 MOUNT WASHINGTON - Rain on one end and the Kentucky Derby on the other made it a short week for the Bullitt East Chargers, but that was just fine as the red and gold won a pair of games to move 17-6 overall with two weeks remaining in the regular season.

 BUCKNER - Competing Thursday in the Sundown Invitational at Oldham County High School, the North Bullitt and Bullitt East track programs ran into some of the top teams in the area in the final ‘big’ meet before the local teams focus on the All-Bullitt County Track and Field Championships and then the post-season.

 MOUNT WASHINGTON - Even though tennis is played on an asphalt surface, you can’t play in the rain.
