SHEPHERDSVILLE – Bullitt Central baseball coach G.J. Moore is not big on moral victories, but even he could smile a little last week after his team made a strong run before falling to traditional Sixth Region contender Butler 5-3.
LOUISVILLE – After winning the Region 3 Archery title ten days earlier, the Bullitt East program could not repeat that strong performance last Monday and Tuesday in the NASP/KHSAA State Archery Tournament at the Commonwealth Convention Center in Louisville.

MOUNT WASHINGTON – Oh what a start. The Bullitt East Lady Chargers bolted from the gate last week, opening the 2013 season with five straight lopsided wins including an 18-2 decision over Sacred Heart in the championship game of the West Jessamine Invitational on Saturday.
