New era starts with high hopes for Lady Cougars

SHEPHERDSVILLE – The end of an era is always sad. The beginning of a new era is always filled with hope and promise.

The Bullitt Central Lady Cougars have already been through the sad part, having said goodbye last May to senior pitcher Seaera Minyard who had pretty much pitched every important inning for the three previous seasons. Minyard had also been the big bat in the middle of the line-up.

Lady Charger softball has the tools to rebuild

MOUNT WASHINGTON – Even the best softball programs have to go into ‘rebuilding’ mode after losing six seniors.

That is certainly the case for the Bullitt East Lady Chargers this spring as the defending Sixth Region champions will have to fill a number of spots to fill before competing in a new district and regional alignment in late May.
