    That final week saw tough games against Elizabethtown and DeSales. The Chargers won those games and that led into a successful post-season run that now has the red and gold riding a 15 game winning streak heading into this week PNC/KHSAA Boys’ Sweet Sixteen Tournament in Lexington’s Rupp Arena.

    4-H shooting sports began in Kentucky in 1988 largely due to the effects of Dr. Joe Kurth of UK.  There are presently 7k kids in Kentucky that participate in 4-H shooting sports.

                      We have expanded to a two day state tournament shooting Archery, Black powder, Rifle and Pistol on Saturday and Shotgun on Sunday.  Last year we had 1k participants- not all shooters choose to compete.
