  • Bullitt East gets challenged,...

HEBRON ESTATES – The Bullitt East Chargers won the Bullitt Cup on Saturday, beating their two county rivals in boys’ soccer.

That is no surprise as Bullitt East has never lost a game in the Bullitt Cup. This year, the red and gold beat North Bullitt 3-1 in the first game and then turned right around and defeated Bullitt Central 3-0 to retain the traveling trophy that has resided in Mount Washington since the inception of the event in 2008.

MOUNT WASHINGTON – ‘Don’t fix what isn’t broken.’

FRANKFORT -- The chain crew working Friday night's season opener between the North Bullitt Eagles and the homestanding Franklin County Flyers were a bit tardy.

  • Quick start powers Chargers to...

STANFORD, KENTUCKY – Putting touchdowns on the board the first two times they had the ball, the Bullitt East Chargers jumped out to a 14-0 lead early in Friday’s season-opening game against Frankfort and then held on down the stretch to win 21-7.

  • Oh what a way to start the high...

SHEPHERDSVILLE – While the high school golf seasons have been going for a few weeks now and the soccer and volleyball seasons started earlier this week, the big bang of starts to the fall sports season comes this weekend.

HEBRON ESTATES – Back home again.

  • Lady Chargers looking to move up...

MOUNT WASHINGTON – Realignment a year ago didn’t do the Bullitt East Lady Chargers any favors as the red and gold learned last October when they were sent to the sidelines after a lopsided loss in the semi-finals to eventual state runner-up Mercy.

As it turned out, Mercy beat Whitefield Academy in the 24th District final and a week later beat the same team in the championship match of the Sixth Region Tournament.
