          VALLEY STATION – The first step for the Bullitt East Chargers in the Class Act Federal Credit Union Sixth Region Basketball Tournament was an easy one as the red and gold jumped out to an early lead and coasted to a 77-47 victory over Southern.

         This was the second consecutive season in which the former district rivals had met up in the first round of the regional tournament.

         For the Bullitt East Chargers, the third time turned out to be a nightmare on Thursday in the semi-finals of the Class Act Federal Credit Union Boys’ Sixth Region Tournament at Valley High School.
