MOUNT WASHINGTON - The U-12 Kentucky Mud Cats, a team based in Mount Washington, capped off a successful season recently with a trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama for the USSSA Global World Series.
FRANKLIN - Scoring five runs in the first two innings, the Blue Lick 14 All-Stars collected the program's fourth state tournament in the past 16 years.
JEFFERSONTOWN - In another rollercoaster tournament opener, the Blue Lick 13-year-old All-Stars appeared poised to win its first-round game in the state Babe Ruth tournament.
ST. MATTHEWS - If you could throw out a couple of games out against Hancock County, the Blue Lick 15-year-old All-Stars had a pretty good run in the state Babe Ruth baseball tournament.
FRANKLIN - Just one more game and the Blue Lick 14 All-Stars will be on their way to the Ohio Valley Regional tournament in Robinson, Ill.
