SHEPHERDSVILLE - Bullitt Central will play at home for the only time in the first half of the season on Friday when the Cougars open their 2009 season against visiting Barren County.
This will be the first game of the season for the Cougars, but Barren County opened the season last Saturday in the T.J. Sampson Bowl in Glasgow, rolling over Metcalfe County 35-0.
“They got off to a good start,” Bullitt Central head coach Danny Leasor said on Monday. “They are disciplined in multiple sets. They will run the quarterback and throw to the running back.
