MOUNT WASHINGTON - After beating Southern 10-0 on Monday, the Bullitt East Chargers were only halfway to gaining the number one seed for next week’s 24th District Baseball Tournament at Southern.

The other half of the equation came into focus on Wednesday when Southern stunned North Bullitt 4-3. When North Bullitt beat Bullitt Central 13-5 on Thursday before Southern beat Fairdale 9-0 on Friday, there was a three-way tie for the top spot with BE, NB and Southern each standing at 3-1.
