SHEPHERDSVILLE -- The regional tennis action is getting closer for local teams.

For the Bullitt Central Lady Cougars, it has been an impressive regular season -- one of the best in many years.

After defeating Trimble County on April 17, the Lady Cougars were 4-2 on the year.

Against Trimble, Amy Doctor won her third match of the season. The freshman with no previous experience in varsity action defeated Kim Abbott 6-1, 6-0.

On court two, freshman Rebecca Price won in a forfeit.
