Discussion jumps to use of fuel card to fill up vehicles for detention center

By Thomas Barr

SHEPHERDSVILLE -- A discussion on fixing leak issues on the roof at the Bullitt County Detention Center ventured off course.

And that discussion could not unlock an on-going concern over refueling issues at the detention center.

Jailer Martha Knox approached fiscal court members with quotes on repairing the leaking roof at the 12-year-old facility.

Bill Coates, a maintenance technician at the detention center, said that with every heavy rain comes a new leak.
