Methamphetamine Trafficking Investigation

The following was released by the Shepherdsville Police Department around 2:20 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2018:


On April 26, 2018 the Street Crimes Unit of the Shepherdsville Police Department, the Kentucky State Police, the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force, and federal law enforcement authorities serves a search warrant in the 1500 block of Hillview Boulevard.

 Investigators recovered 1.2 pounds of methamphetamine, 123 steroid pills, 28 gabapentin pills, 50 grams of marijuana, numerous items of drug paraphernalia, and a money counter. Investigators also recovered over $100,000 in stolen property that included a John Deere tractor, a Polaris RZR, a boat, multiple generators, and various types of construction equipment.

Kenneth Moore, 42 of Louisville, was arrested on charges of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Meth), Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree (Anabolic Steroid), Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree (Drug Unspecified), Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Trafficking in Marijuana, and Receiving Stolen Property $10,000 or more.
