Transportation continue road clearing route

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet

Roadways across the district range from wet pavement to completely covered pavement.

With snow continuing to fall, some routes that have been cleared are getting covered again.

All of our counties are salting and plowing at this time with the exception of Franklin County. They have reported very little snow and wet pavement conditions.

In many areas, drivers are able to navigate the roads when driving at a lower rate of speed.

Crews will continue working throughout the day to remove snow from all state roads. They work in a priority system of A, B and C routes. The A routes are those with higher traffic volumes and are treated first.

To see a map of these routes by county, visit snowky.ky.gov and click on the Snow Priority Routes in the middle of the screen.
