LOUISVILLE - Max Cole and Scott Wright found themselves to be in an unusual position during a recent USSSA 10 and Under state championship game at Buechel Park.

The two Bullitt Countians play on the Brooks Saints football team together and the Fairdale youth basketball team together for a couple of years.

They even played on the same Okolona All-Star team for the past three years, including winning the state Cal Ripken title in 2006 and finishing second in the state last year.

This year, Max is playing in the Fern Creek league and Scott is playing for Blue Lick.
