Lebanon Junction gets back to school in grand fashion

LEBANON JUNCTION — For the second year, Lebanon Junction students were sent back to school knowing they have the support of their community.

Hair cuts, face painting, hotdogs, popcorn, sno-cones, bounce houses and more were available for children ages 6 to 12 who needed them at the Backpack Bash in the Wall Street Park.

At the Turnaround Resource Center, 400 backpacks filled with school supplies awaited students of all ages. A total of 364 were given out in less than an hour. The extra backpacks were given to the school to distribute as needed.
