MOUNT WASHINGTON – A first inning home run off the bat of junior Jarrett Wantye capped a four run start for the Bullitt East Chargers on Friday as the red and gold celebrated Senior Night with a 10-0 victory over arch-rival Bullitt Central in a five-inning contest.

Wantye’s home run accounted for the third and fourth runs of the inning and before another pitch was thrown, the umpires sent both teams to their dugouts due to a steady rain. Following a 25-minute delay, play resumed, but the momentum stayed with the Chargers.

  • Championship Effort: Three...

MOUNT WASHINGTON—When representing a country known as a melting pot, the team should be its own melting pot of several different schools.

Teams Finland and Sweden came in second and third place in the division.
