LOUISVILLE -- A Bullitt County, Kentucky, man was sentenced Monday to 2 years and 9 months in federal prison for illegally possessing a firearm after having been previously convicted of a felony offense.  

U.S. Attorney Michael A. Bennett of the Western District of Kentucky, Special Agent in Charge Michael E. Stansbury of the FBI Louisville Field Office, and Colonel Marcus Laytham, Chief of the Mount Washington Police Department, made the announcement.
