Bringing Forth a Voice through the Arts

Amanda Matthews wants to use her art to give a voice to women and minorities who have gone unrecognized.

She grew up in Mount Washington and attended Bullitt East High School. Matthews went on to attend the University of Louisville, where she studied fine arts and philosophy.

During her time at the university she also attended school in Paris, where she studied fine arts and architecture.
